![]() Maybe when they start to care about PEOPLE-we’ll be back. They can have their white tablecloth expensive dinners. My husband said, “can I have ice please.” Received.ĩ) no refills on coffee offered. Asked at bar and bartender pointed to the side of the patio. Go ask.” He came back with cream.ħ) husband wanted ICE water. The kid said “we don’t have that.” My husband said “yes you do. He forgot.Ĥ) Delivered 2 cups of coffee-had to wait again for cream.ĥ) Again after a bit of a a wait, I walked in to get cream from the kid’s hand as he came to deliver it to us but it was sweetened.Ħ) Husband went in and asked for regular cream. That’s all.Just a box of cake.Ģ) went to get plastic utensils and a glass of water ourselves-no problem.ģ) Waited no less than 8-10 minutes for our coffee. Not a thing was right:ġ) Carrot cake was dropped off at our outdoor table in a box. Stopped for some dessert and coffee mid afternoon. very big turn off at the end of the meal. The dough was old crumbly and upon the first bite the eclair split open and the inside poured out. The chocolate mousse/caramel dessert was out of this world! Upon completion the waiter said that their Eclairs were the Best around! So we ordered one and it turned out to be a huge fail. While the pasta was perfectly cooked the consistency was strange at room temperature. The muscles and clams were good but one of the muscles was very bad. While the fish was served at perfect eating temperature the pesto was served room temp. Fingerling potatoes were great! The ramp pesto pasta was less than stellar. This was outstanding perfectly cooked with a very nice egg batter. The waiter was happy to bring us some horseradish upon request. Oysters were delicious and served with cocktail sauce and vinegar. The soup was average, a little watery for a bisque. Today the bread was warm, and the butter was semi soft with chives. We have dined here before with a better experience. If you don't have time for the tour, at least go for food, cheese, and gelato. We were given a 10% coupon on any purchases, so I stocked up on their own cheeses (you can try them all at the store and the chevre freezes well), crackers, cookies (holy yum), a cookbook, goat's milk caramel, and gifts. Then back at the restaurant we had an absolutely delicious elegant lunch. After the tour, but still on the farm, we tasted the best cheeses I've ever had (which is A LOT of fancy cheese). The goats are friendly definitely one of the cleaner farm animals. The person who gave the tour does the milking and was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all aspects of the animal raising and cheese making. The farm is a quick few minute shuttle ride from the store/creamery and we had the best gelato on the way. Only regret is that we didn't have more cash on us to tip the tour guide, so stop at an atm on your way. We took the farm tour with our almost 2-yr-old (who is pretty chill, I don't know that we would have liked it with a more active/mover/runner kid) and had the best time. If your in the area I would definitely give this place a try! The sausage was spot on the onions were cooked just right the dough in my taste was a little undercooked but still had good bite and chew the only thing was the cheese and sauce was lacking a little flavor but still really good. The marinara sauce was dark red and fresh, the fry bread with the parmesan garlic was super good! We ended up with a large sausage and onion pizza which came out not too long after, I feel the pizza could have been cooked a little more but that could have been we got there right when they open at 11:00 and maybe the oven wasn't fully up to temperature yet. For appetizers we ordered the parmesan fry bread with marinara. ![]() First thing I noticed was the wood fire pizza oven roaring and ready to go. First walking in we were greeted by the friendly wait staff and ordered drinks. Took a day trip to door county and researched pizza places as my wife and I travel the U.S and hit every small town pizza place we can.
